Thankfully, more and more consumers are making the switch to Mac and more and more buzz and excitement as well as sales of the iPhone are taking place. This all brings more attention to Apple and its Macintosh line.
Why are people switching to Macs? I think they are finally getting tired of all the issues of running a PC with Windows installed. I know that's why I switched back in 2004. I had experienced enough of the annual or bi-annual re-installs of the OS and all my applications and settings. It was just too much. Windows is built on an old, not-meant-for-the-net foundations and it is crumbling. But, enough of that. This is MacComputing, not WindowsBashing. I still use Windows for work purposes because corporations are very slow to move on technology sometimes. They have TCO and what not to worry about. Too bad they don't update their studies to reflect recent changes (i.e. Intel Macs, UNIX Macs, Macs can run Windows, Mac, Linux, etc).
Ah well. Check out this article titled, "More Consumers Make the Switch to Macs," in Advertising Age.
