The moral of the story: Don't download junk onto your Mac. Free screensavers have long been a virus/spyware delivery point for Windows machines. It's no surprise they are using the same deployment method against the Mac. In the end, however, the user is the one granting permission to install these bad apps. Only download from reputable, well-known sites.
