WWDC 2010 Begins Today

It looks like a release of Mac OS X is expected at WWDC 2010 this week. I am doubtful of that. If they do release it, it will be low key, quietly and will likely be just a method of delivering an update to apps such as Safari 5 and updates to MobileMe as well as iTunes and anything else that touches the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad devices.

Last year I attended WWDC and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I am disappointed that I was unable to attend this year, especially since Steve Jobs is back doing the keynote. That would have been great to see live. I am nonetheless excited about today's event as it is sure to bring some Apple surprises. We are all pretty sure there will be a new iPhone, unless Steve Jobs is mad about the exposure and delays it. I don't think that will happen though.

iPhone OS 4

I am hoping that the new iPhone OS 4 is released tomorrow. I am excited about the folder feature more than the multi-tasking feature. I have so many apps on my iPhone it makes it hard to find the app I want among a sea of icons. Once I get them organized I'll be more excited about the other features as the phone will have entered a new level of usability for me.

Live Streams of WWDC 2010

Who will be handling the live streams of WWDC 2010 Keynote this year? Well, Gizmodo may not be doing as well as they have in the past. According to a report from PR NEWS Gizmodo may have gotten themselves blacklisted in a manner of speaking and are having to cobble together some other method of providing coverage as their request to Apple has gone conspicuously unanswered this year. Hmmm. Wonder why?

Here is a list of sites, in no particular order, you can take a look at for live coverage of the keynote:
