MC: There has been talk of a Mac App store by a source other than Apple. However, the provider is one who sells apps for 'jailbroken' iOS devices. Why would you trust a store that is doing something that is against Apple's policy for it's devices? I'm not talking about selling apps but about jailbreaking your iOS device. Not a good idea and why should I buy from a store that encourages it? The store I am referring to is C...a - yeah, that's all I'm going to give them.
If you want a real alternative to the Apple soon-to-be-provided Mac App store, then try Bodega. They have been out for a while and it works well. http://appbodega.com/
