MP3's Outdated

NEW! It's the red circle sign on the Napster web site. They now are selling MP3's without DRM (Digital Rights Management). Uh, but why MP3's? The MP3 format is outdated, doesn't sound as good as it's successor, uses more space and requires more CPU processing. AAC, the successor to MP3 (maybe they should have called it MP4), is a much better alternative to MP3. AAC is the standard choice on Apple's iTunes store and is an open standard (when we are talking about DRM-less AAC) that anyone can use.

"AAC is also the standard audio format for Sony’s PlayStation 3, Nintendo's Wii (with the Photo Channel 1.1 update installed for Wii consoles purchased before late 2007) and the MPEG-4 video standard. HE-AAC is part of digital radio standards like DAB+ and Digital Radio Mondiale." (Wikipedia).
