This weekend if you are looking for a fun movie to "experience" you gotta go see Speed Racer. If you were a fan of the show when you were a kid, then you definitely must see this movie. If you're not a fan of the cartoon, you may still enjoy this movie based on the story and the special effects - just keep an open mind and realize that some of what seems weird or quirky about this movie is actually because it follows the cartoon so closely.
I must admit when I first saw the previews for this movie I had my reservations about it. I thought it looked really dumb. Well, the previews don't do it justice and you simply have to see it on a big screen. Great movie, awesome experience.
