From Fortune, "Apple’s unit shipments year-over-year grew 32% according to IDC, and 29.4% according to Gartner — more than six times the industry average."
And it keeps going up. Hopefully this will continue. I would like to see Macs have 33.5% of the market and see Linux with the other 33.5% and Windows with 33%. ;-) Competition is good. We have been stuck in a monopoly with Microsoft and look what we have today: VISTA. That's just pathetic.
